Discovered: New way to commit sin
« on: August 09, 2010, 02:02:54 AM »
I don't know how it occured to me. There must have been a demon sitting on my shoulder. I dunked a Hershey bar into Beeherder's honey and ate it. I didn't just eat it either, I had to count my fingers after I was done to make sure they were all still there. It has to be Beeherder's honey too, none other will do. If you haven't gotten any, I highly recommend sending Beeherder a PM and scoring a supply. You will need some for the food storage and some for immediate use. Don't just buy some for the food storage, you won't be able to keep yourself out of it.

Uck!  I can't imagine ruining good honey with a Hershey bar!  What a sacrilege!

Yeah, yeah...they all said the same kinds of things about Copernicus and Kepler back in their day too. It wasn't until long after their lives were over that the world discovered what great discoverers they were.

when hot toss in a couple a handfulls of pecans

keep them moving until lightly toasted

If I get a heart attack I'm blaming it on Beeherder.

Homemade whole wheat bread, covered with 1/4" raw all-grass-fed butter, then 1/4 to 1/2" raw unfiltered honey is probably the best thing I've ever eaten in my life.   :eatdrink004:

The only possible competitor would be bacon covered with melted sharp cheddar cheese.  :shocked013:

A.D. Smith, is that you in the foreground of your new avatar?

Look mighty trim there Bud.  :hug004:  Especially for a guy who likes bacon coated with melted cheddar cheese!

That is me, running in the 2010 Bolder Boulder 10k.   :greet025:
My body fat stays pretty low, due to chronic digestive issues (gluten intolerance and numerous allergies), as well as from running 100-200 miles per month in the mountains.  :laughing002:

Raw unfiltered honey 12 miles down the road. Closest thing you can get to organic, drop me a PM, maybe we can make a trade or if necessary we could resort to cash.

Yep!  Absolutely!  That is my idea of Heaven!

Alternately, blend the honey and butter in a bowl.  Then make yourself some crepe-like pancakes.  Spread the wonderful goo on the pancakes and roll them up.  Mmmmmmmmmmmmm!

Beehearder's Honey is the best I have ever tasted in 51 years of living. Hats off to the sisterhood.  :greet009:
