bud, I can fit you out with a 1 horsepower brushless DC motor / batteries  and controller for 1/20th the weight I'll bet

No exstension cord needed to recharge batteries. Just let the horse graze for a while and then it will recharge the batteries. Even works on a cloudy day when the wind isn't blowing (for photo voltaic or wind).
Gotta learn how to knit socks and mittens if you want to survive in montana.
