It looks like each pan is cooking a single egg.  Huge.  Ostrich?

Australia?

Nice handles on the pan.

Those aren't pans. Those are army issue shovels, also known as an "E-tool".

There's a very interesting tool in this picture at Noon.
what is that?

I think some of you are not getting it.

Think about what other use they put those shovels to.

Those are chinese lower enlisted using etools to cook eggs. Given that it's China, they are probably just chicken eggs, the etools are very small. perhaps 1 1/2 feet long. Atash is right, what else has been shoveled with those things?

It's about warm food and throw in a couple of biscuits baked in a tin can and a little fried rat and you have a breakfast sandwich.

OK, a McBreakfast.  But what about the tool at 12:00?

My guess: Optical illusion. It's a stick overlaid against a rolled up sleeve.

Chinese because-
1. a google search of the file name reveals it's probably of chinese origin
2. the insignia matches on the shoulder epaulet matches the rank of PFC in the chinese army
3. the shovel matches a photo of a chinese army issue etool
