Repairing tools and appliances
« on: September 29, 2009, 09:21:34 PM »
This is something I would like to learn more about. Frequently I throw away an appliance or tool because some component of it that I can't find a replacement part for and am not clever enough to figure out how to repair the damaged part.

Funny you mention this. I have a hand drill my father gave me that needs a new power cord. Plan on picking one up soon and replacing it.

Now that's sensible. A power cord is a part you can buy or salvage.
