I need to re-post my "Homeworld" series. Most of you never saw it. I wrote it about 4 years ago, posted about 1/3 of the episodes, but got bogged down in other issues and was unable to continue it.
As an aside: I would like to spend more time on the wiki, and re-posting Homeworld episodes, than in the forums. If more folks could start threads (hint hint) it would free me from the responsibility to keep them moving.

You efforts would be well-rewarded with fascinating new content.
One of the episodes of Homeworld involves violent arrest by the secret police.
Generally speaking, your best bet is to have lots of family, friends, and friendly neighbors with whom you are on good terms and in frequent contact. If no one is around to spread the word that you have been arrested (or summarily executed, like
Donald Scott during a civil-asset-forfeiture raid), then nothing is likely to come of it. Once you're dead, no use rescuing you, but there might be a chance for restitution to the next-of-kin.
Time is of the essence. The longer you are held, the more danger you are in.
I think that Claire Wolfe is correct that you don't put up any struggle, or even so much as argue with them (sometimes they go nuts--you don't want them to "reach for a taser" and shoot you with a gun instead), unless it is already clearly a matter of life and death.
